The platform is growing. The stations are running. The content is solid. And more and more listeners, readers, and entrepreneurs along the Costa are taking notice. To support that growth, we’re expanding our team — especially on the commercial side. Because behind every strong media brand is a smart commercial strategy.

That’s why we’re looking for reinforcements: independent commercial thinkers with vision and determination — people who spot opportunities, build relationships, and believe in them enough to go all in.

Commercial talent wanted

Are you someone who connects easily with entrepreneurs? Someone who prefers building relationships over ticking off cold calls? Someone who sees the value of a strong, creative local media brand — and knows how to communicate that?

Then you might just be the commercial force we’re looking for. Not as an “ad slot seller,” but as a partner — someone who understands what local entrepreneurs need, and how our content, radio, and community can connect with that in a smart, strategic way.

You’ll be working on a commission basis — no fixed salary, but plenty of room to earn well if you know how to make the right connections. You’ll shape much of your own approach. What matters is the result — and how you get there: with style, integrity, and enthusiasm.

Editorial roles also available

We’re also looking for editorial contributors in the Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol regions — especially for news and our events calendar. Do you live along the coast, follow local news, know the town hall pages, the small initiatives and the best events? Then you could become one of the key antennas of our platform.

We’re building a network of regional editors, step by step. We’re not looking for one-person armies trying to do it all — we prefer a team of engaged contributors, each covering their own region or focus area. Even one or two short contributions per week can make a big difference.

Say you live in Jávea but also keep an eye on what’s happening in Denia, Altea or Calpe — perfect. We’re not thinking in strict municipal boundaries. We’re looking for people who have a good feel for their area and can pick up on what matters to others living in or visiting the Costa.

What’s still to come

Right now, our focus is on the Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol. But we’re already looking ahead. We’ve started laying the groundwork in Las Palmas through a collaboration with Holland FM Gran Canaria, and the Costa Brava is also firmly on our radar. In the long run, we aim to grow The Sound Of The Costa into a broad platform for Dutch-speaking and international expats — across the entire Spanish coast, and beyond.
