Marbella criminals used drones to smuggle hash

In a major operation, Spanish police have busted a criminal organization. The gang used drones to smuggle hash from Morocco to Spain. Ten people were arrested in the operation, which took place in the regions of Costa del Sol and Algeciras. Three drones with hash were also seized. The drones, which came from Ukraine, could travel as far as 50 kilometers with a load of 10 kilos of drugs per flight.

The drones flew over the Strait of Gibraltar and returned to Morocco after delivering the cargo without having to land. This made it possible to transport large quantities of drugs quickly and effectively. According to the police, a single organization could smuggle up to 1,000 kilos of hashish using this technology.
