Alicante-Elche Airport records record number of passengers

Alicante-Elche Airport continues to grow thanks to the ever-increasing flow of passengers. Alicante Airport recorded 17.2 million passengers in 2024 through November. That is more than in the whole of 2023, a number that was surpassed in October. Airport management Aena reports that almost 1.28 million passengers passed through the terminal in November. That is 19.6 percent more than in the same period last year, which boosted growth in this transport hub in the province. Also in terms of flights, Alicante-Elche airport recorded a monthly record in November with a total of 8,566 operations, 23 percent more than the same month in 2023. In the 11 months, the airport has already operated 107,868 flights, 15.5 percent more than a year earlier.
