Assassination attempt on Costa del Sol against Dutch man

A 25-year-old man from Zwolle was shot dead on the Spanish coast near Málaga. Police are investigating the attempted murder in Fuengirola.

Gap year

The man’s family, with roots in Dalfsen, is said to be on a gap year in Spain. The brutal murder caused quite a stir on the Costa del Sol. According to police sources, the victim had multiple gunshot wounds, one of which was in the head. The incident took place in Calle Asturias, near the boulevard. Emergency services were quickly on the scene, but could do nothing to save the man’s life.

No arrests have been made yet. The National Police have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators of the assassination attempt. Witnesses are requested to contact the police.
