Police arrest Dutch man in Moraira for cocaine trafficking
Spanish police have arrested a 43-year-old Dutchman in Moraira. The man is wanted in the Netherlands for large-scale cocaine trafficking. An international arrest warrant has been outstanding against the suspect since April. In 2020, he is said to have imported four tons of pure cocaine. The estimated street value is around 228 million euros. The Dutchman could receive a prison sentence of six years for this.

Spanish authorities are holding the Dutchman pending his extradition. How the police discovered the man in the fishing village on the Costa Blanca is not known.
