With Christmas and New Year falling on a Wednesday this year, the usual Wednesday market in La Mata has been moved to a Tuesday, a day earlier. Local residents looking to stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables for the big festivities can visit the La Mata market on Tuesday 24th December and Tuesday 31st December. The Friday market in Torrevieja remains unchanged.
