As the final days of the year approach and the air above the Spanish Costa regions is filled with the scent of pine trees and fireworks, I can feel every fibre of my being buzzing with the excitement of the upcoming celebrations. I\u2019m absolutely enchanted by the Spanish way of bidding farewell to the old year and welcoming the new one. Especially in the regions where I now live \u2014 the Costa Blanca<\/strong> and Costa del Sol<\/strong> \u2014 the New Year traditions are so unique and full of life. They\u2019ve won my heart, and I can\u2019t wait to share them with you. <\/p>\n

\"Grapes<\/p>\n

The 12 Grapes of Luck<\/h3>\n

One of the first traditions I came to know when I moved here was eating the 12 grapes of luck<\/a><\/strong>. In Spain, New Year’s Eve is not just about good food and good company, but also a bit of excitement. Voor mij is Spanje meer dan een plek om te wonen; het is een eindeloze bron van inspiratie.
