Benidorm City Council recently replaced 70 street signs in the historic city centre. The signs were outdated and in poor condition. Councillor for Public Spaces Francis Mu\u00f1oz stressed that the new ceramic signs would enhance the streetscape and improve street identification. This renovation is part of a wider plan to improve signage in the city. This includes the installation of 25 \u2018Metrominuto\/Biciminuto\u2019 panels, digital screens for traffic, air quality and parking, and new bollards according to the new Signage Plan. Mu\u00f1oz stated that the improved signage would mainly benefit tourists in the old town. <\/p>\n
