Altea recently installed six Mupis, electronic information machines that provide visitors and tourists with access to comprehensive information. The Mupis provide information on local events, festivals, culture, nature, sports and tourism, thus enriching the visitor experience. The project, which includes five outdoor Mupis and one indoor Mupi, was made possible in part by a grant from the Spanish Government under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the EU \u2013 Next Generation EU. The Mupis are equipped with a multilingual chatbot that supports 96 languages. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Borja, Councillor for Commerce, highlights that the machines provide information on Altea\u2019s commercial and tourist activities through advertisements, and serve as an interactive communication channel between municipal services and the business community. <\/p>\n
