Moraira, located in the Marina Alta, tops the list as the most expensive place to live. Here, the average house price is \u20ac4,000 per square metre, with peaks of \u20ac4,053 in November. This quiet coastal town with its idyllic beaches and high-quality amenities attracts buyers from all over the world. Other expensive municipalities include J\u00e1vea (\u20ac3,532\/m\u00b2), Benissa (\u20ac3,510\/m\u00b2) and Calpe (\u20ac3,229\/m\u00b2). Altea rounds out the top with an average price of \u20ac3,142 per square metre.
