The caf\u00e9 bomb\u00f3n was born on Spain\u2019s east coast, with Valencia as its cradle. In a time when fresh milk was scarce and spoiled quickly in the Mediterranean heat, caf\u00e9s turned to condensed milk as a practical solution. It proved not only convenient, but surprisingly delicious.
