It looks like a dessert, but above all, it\u2019s a moment just for you.   <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\">A coffee with an origin<\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">The caf\u00e9 bomb\u00f3n was born on Spain\u2019s east coast, with Valencia as its cradle. In a time when fresh milk was scarce and spoiled quickly in the Mediterranean heat, caf\u00e9s turned to condensed milk as a practical solution. It proved not only convenient, but surprisingly delicious. The sweetness softened the strong espresso, making it more approachable \u2014 and before long, the drink became a staple in caf\u00e9s along the Costa.   <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\">Why it tastes so good<\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">The secret lies in its simplicity. A caf\u00e9 bomb\u00f3n consists of equal parts espresso and condensed milk. Because of the difference in density, the layers remain separate, so you first taste the pure coffee, followed by the creamy sweetness slowly blending in. In traditional caf\u00e9s it\u2019s sometimes called caf\u00e9 bomboncito \u2014 a nickname that perfectly captures the affection behind such a simple drink.  <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\">How to make it at home<\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">You don\u2019t need to be a barista to make a good caf\u00e9 bomb\u00f3n at home. Fill a small heatproof glass with condensed milk. Then gently pour the espresso on top so the layers stay intact.
