Alicante has decided to extend the lease for its port bus station until 2027. The current location on the port site is temporary, pending a new permanent location near the intermodal area. The \u2018temporary\u2019 location has been there since the buses were removed from the city centre in 2011, creating S\u00e9neca Square next to the old station and platforms. <\/p>\n
The agreement includes an annual fee of 134,000 euros to the port authority, which has been waiting for signature since 2023, when the previous agreement expired. However, since the new agreement was not ready in time, both administrations agreed to a one-year extension.
