ABOUT COSTA BLANCA RADIO

Costa Blanca Radio is the longest-running radio station on the Costa Blanca, primarily aimed at the Dutch, Flemish and English on the Costa. The predecessor of the current station was launched in 1996. This shows that the radio station has been in existence for more than a quarter of a century.

Music format

The Classic Hits-format characterises the target audience of listeners in an age category between 35 and 75 years. The design of Costa Blanca Radio and commercials are broadcast in several languages, and characterise the international audience.

The radio station was set up by Erik de Zwart (known from TROS, Radio 538, Radio Veronica and NPO Radio 5) and Rick van Velthuysen (known from AVRO, Radio 538, Radio Veronica and NPO Radio2), well-known names in the Dutch radio world. In addition, Bart van Leeuwen (known from radio Veronica and NPO Radio5) also contributes to the station.

Hosted radio shows

Costa Blanca Radio is the only station in the region with daily presented programs in Dutch. Furthermore, the regional agenda can be heard several times a day with Erik de Zwart, and news can be heard every half hour, in Dutch and English.

The channel focuses primarily on Dutch, Flemish and British people through its sophisticated music mix.
